About the Journey
A Wellness-focused travel journey documenting slow travel, offbeat destinations, and belonging for Black travelers around the world.
Well Elsewhere follows a personal travel journey rooted in wellness, slow exploration, and the search for belonging in unexpected places. This journey moves beyond traditional sightseeing to focus on how travel feels-physically, emotionally, and mentally-especially while navigating the world as Black travelers.
Each destination is approached with intention: choosing offbeat routes over crowded itineraries, prioritizing rest and wellbeing, and allowing time for local conversations to shape the experience. Along the way, this journey includes practical travel guides, honest storytelling, photography, and reflective essays designed to support meaningful, mindful travel.
This is a journey of traveling slowly, listening closely, and staying open to what unfamiliar places can teach about ease, safety, and connection. Whether the path leads to a quiet town, an overlooked country, or a place rarely recommended, the goal remains the same-to explore the world in a way that supports wellness, deep presence, and a sense of belonging.
